Crew Carwash Fundraiser - July 27, 2024

ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Crew Carwash is partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters for its 15th annual Crew for Kids fundraiser.

“As a family-owned business, Crew Carwash has consistently given back to our local communities since 1948, thanks to the support of our incredible teams,” said Bill Dahm, Crew Carwash CEO. “We are proud to host Crew for Kids annually with Big Brothers Big Sisters to support the kids of Minnesota and Indiana.”

The 2024 Crew for Kids fundraiser is Saturday, July 24, at all 48 Crew locations in Minnesota and Indiana – including the St. Cloud location at 4118 Division St. From 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. that day, 50 percent of the proceeds from each Ultimate Wash purchased come back to BBBS, and Crew will also be accepting credit and cash donations at each location.

Funds raised will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies that serve markets in which Crew has locations. The agencies to receive the proceeds from this fundraiser include Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Minnesota and BBBS Twin Cities in Minnesota, and BBBS of Central Indiana; BBBS of Greater Lafayette; BBBS of South Central Indiana; BBBS of Metropolitan Chicago; BBBS of Wabash Valley and BBBS of Bartholomew County in Indiana.

“As we approach our 15th annual Crew for Kids event, our team at Crew Carwash is excited to continue our support for Big Brothers Big Sisters,” said Sally Grant, Executive Vice President of Crew Carwash. “We are honored to be a part of an initiative that offers impactful opportunities for youth in our community to reach their full potential.”

Last year, Crew raised more than $180,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters. In total, the company has raised more than $1,000,000 for the nonprofit since its inaugural Crew for Kids fundraiser in 2010.

“Big thanks to Crew Carwash for their 15th annual Crew for Kids fundraiser to support Big Brothers Big Sisters,” said Jackie Johnson, Executive Director of BBBS of Central Minnesota. “Together with community partners like Crew, we can help defend the potential of local youth through mentorship today and far into the future.”

Being big means being there, as a mentor, friend, and Big for the next generation of youth in Central Minnesota. In only a few hours each month, volunteer mentors expand the youth’s support system, share new and lived experiences, and have fun.
