Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast and Day of Service

Monday, January 21st 8:00-10:00am at the River’s Edge Convention Center (10 4th Avenue South, St. Cloud, MN 56301)

Keynote Speaker: Best-selling author, prize-winning journalist, acclaimed biographer and cultural historian, Wil Haygood. Children ages 5-12 will have the opportunity to learn about and engage in community service during the keynote address in the King’s Kids Room.

The breakfast will be an opportunity for everyone to participate in an on-site community-wide service project creating Dream Packages for men, women and children that will benefit those in need in St. Cloud.

You are welcome to donate items for the Dream Packages including wash cloths, socks, gloves, hats, deodorant, lip balm, feminine hygiene products, lotion, playing cards, tissues, crayons, small toys etc. Items should be small enough to fit inside a gallon size ziplock bag. You can bring these items with you or drop them off at the Miller Center Library Room 212B by noon on Friday, January 18.

Breakfast is free and open to the general public however registration is required. Please be sure to print out your registration confirmation and bring it with you. The doors will open at 7:30 a.m. Breakfast starts at 8:00 a.m.
