SCTCC Cardiovascular Technology Activity

What: Our group will learn from a SCTCC instructor and a couple students currently in the cardiovascular technology program. We will do a surgical scrub, gowning, and gloving. We’ll also work on their 3D systems simulator to visualize coronaries and manipulate a wire through the aorta. This is a great opportunity for any youth interested in the healthcare field!
Who: Youth ages 12 and older – including matched and waiting Littles and High School Bigs. Littles may also bring a friend or sibling. No Bigs or parents/guardians are able to attend due to limited space and current guidelines.
Snack will be provided.
Attendees must wear a mask the entire time except when eating.
Limit: 10 youth
